They fought the school board and won.
Trustees at the Hamilton Catholic School Board have reversed a decision to force parents to buy school uniforms only from board approved suppliers.
Some parents had suggested that would lead to higher prices.
They packed the board meeting last night to show their displeasure and trustees decided to back down.
As one trustee put it, they've closed schools without this much aggravation.
