The Tiger-Cats are shooting down rumours of a rift in their locker room.
CFL agent Darren Gill recently told a Montreal radio station that there were problems brewing in the Ticats' locker room.
Gill he claimed that some veterans don't like head coach George Cortez's style.
And he said the relationship between Cortez and defensive co-ordinator Casey Creehan is already strained.
Cortez says he has spoken to Gill and the says things are not in disarray.
Gill, for his part, has issued an apology to the team, Cortez and Creehan.
‘I’d like to sincerely apologize to George Cortez, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and most importantly Casey Creehan for the remarks I made on a Montreal radio station on Wednesday. I have been proudly representing Tiger-Cats for the past 10 years and my comments were in no way meant to cause the problems that they did. I became caught up in the moment and inadvertently said some things that were inappropriate. The Tiger-Cats are a first-class organization and I sincerely regret making the comments. I look forward to maintaining my strong relationship with the team.”
The Ticats will be back on the field Saturday to take on the Argos at Ivor Wynne.
