Ticats-Argos rivalry is alive & well
Rick Zamperin
7/13/2012

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have another shot at getting into the win column when they host the Toronto Argonauts Saturday night.

The Ticats enter the game at 0-and-2, having allowed a CFL worst 41 points per game.

Hamilton also has a league low 1 sack, zero turnovers, and are last in numerous defensive categories.

But despite those statistics, the Cats are confident their 0-for-2012 streak will come to an end against the 1-and-1 Argos.

The game features two of the hottest passing attacks.

Toronto QB Ricky Ray leads the league with 707 passing yards and 74.7% complete rate.

Hamilton's Henry Burris is second in the CFL with 643 yards through the air and is tied for the league lead with 4 touchdown passes.

Burris says the team has had "the finest week of preparation to date," adding "we're not accepting any more excuses as far as the mental side" of the game.

There are a couple of lineup changes for Hamilton, most notably the return of defensive backs Ryan Hinds and Carlos Thomas.

Hinds, who hasn't dressed for a game this year because of injury, is expected to back up cornerback Matt Bucknor.

Thomas is replacing Marcell Young, who has been placed on the 9-game injured list with a broken knuckle.
