Public board to put properties on market?
Hamilton Spectator
11/21/2012

The Public School Board may soon put some of its properties on the mountain on the market.

Trustees are looking at unloading 15 hectares of vacant land on Upper Wellington, and near Rymal Road and Upper Ottawa.

They'll also consider selling about two hectares of surplus property at Sir Allan MacNab high school.

Board chair Tim Simmons says they'll seek public input before moving forward.

Mountain, Barton and Hill Park schools will all be closed and replaced by a new school south of the Linc.
