Sounds like Frosty the Snowman will be making a comeback.
The Weather Network has released its winter outlook for the next three months.
Meteorologist Gina Ressler says Southern Ontario can expect cold and warm spells, but that temperatures should average out to be normal.
Near normal amounts of precipitation are expected as well -- with higher amounts in store in the traditional snowbelt regions.
Ressler says it's unlikely any dust will have a chance to collect on our shovels -- unlike last winter.
She says most of Hamilton's snow will likely be the result of either "Colorado Lows" or "Alberta Clippers".
The Weather Network's prognostications are in line with what US-based Accuweather.com predicted about a month ago.
