A Hamilton man is lying in a Buffalo hospital in a coma.
31-year-old Robert Sitter was hit by a taxi after leaving Ralph Wilson Stadium on November 15th after a Bills game and has been in a coma since.
He's going to be in hospital at least another couple of weeks before he can be moved.
OHIP will only cover up to 400-dollars a day and without additional travel insurance the bills are piling up.
His partner, Kimberly Walsh, says it's something most people don't think of for a day trip.
She's contacted Service Canada and Ontario Works, MPP Paul Miller and MP Wayne Marston.
Now, she has to wait to see if there will be some help coming.
