Halton police have arrested two men in connection with a series of commercial break and enters at cellphone stores.
Investigators say the four entries occurred in the early morning hours and the suspects forced their way in using a rock and sledge hammer.
Officers searched their homes in Brampton and recovered a number of stolen items from the stores and seized additional evidence linking them to the crimes.
The total value of the stolen goods is worth nearly 40-thousand dollars.
Nearly 30-thousand dollars worth of cell phones and accessories were taken from the Future Shop Store on Davidson Court in Burlington. 26-year-old Brian Moore and 20-year-old Kevin Thomas have been charged with break and enter, breach of recognizance, and possession of stolen property.
