Lockout or no lockout, it's business as usual for the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Team president Stephen Ostaszewicz says if anything, the end of the NHL labour stoppage may actually help the Dogs.
Hamilton, which has one of the youngest rosters in the AHL, is last in the league.
Ostaszewicz says with many players returning to their NHL clubs the playing field will become more level in the American League.
He says off the ice, the club has "enjoyed tremendous success" with a higher average attendance over last year.
He adds it is safe to say that at least a couple of Bulldogs players will be invited to the Montreal Canadiens training camp later this week, pending ratification of the NHL's new collective bargaining agreement on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs host the Western Conference leading Toronto Marlies tomorrow night at 7:30 at Copps Coliseum.
