After being inundated with calls about flooding following heavy rains this past weekend, two Hamilton councillors want the city to investigate areas of Binbrook and Stoney Creek.
Ward 11's Brenda Johnson wants to find out whether the storm management ponds are holding up.
While Ward 9 councillor Brad Clark told CHML's Bill Kelly Show, he wants a third party to examine whether the city has the storm water capacity to manage the growth in Stoney Creek.
The city received about 130 calls from residents with flooded basements this weekend.
