Dave Stala is going to stick around Hamilton for a while longer.
The Tiger-Cats have signed the veteran receiver to a contract extension through the 2014 season.
Nicknamed "Sticky" and "The Polish Prince", the Cathedral High School graduate is entering his 11th season in the CFL in 2013.
The 33-year-old Stala, who was born in Poland, made 42 receptions for 655 yards and 4 touchdowns last season.
Stala has played in 139 regular season games in the CFL, and has 398 catches for 5,044 yards and 27 touchdowns.
He's also played in 10 career playoff games, including four with Hamilton, but is still searching for a Grey Cup ring.
Stala was named Hamilton's Most Outstanding Canadian in 2010 and 2011, earning the East Division's Most Outstanding Canadian award in 2010.
And he has been one of the team's most active players in the community, with his "Stala's Stars" program bringing over 300 kids from the East Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club to Ticats home games each season.
Marwan Hage and Peter Dyakowski signed extensions earlier this week.
