A Wind Warning that was in effect for all of southern Ontario has been cancelled.
Environment Canada had said that northwest winds in the wake of a cold front would gust up to 90-kilometers-per-hour Sunday morning.
The winds were expected to slowly diminish through the afternoon and evening as the system moved into Quebec.
As of 6 am, winds at Hamilton International Airport were out of the west at 48, gusting to 71-kilometres-per-hour.
There were no reports of any major power outages as a result of the wind.
