We should know next Monday how the city will deal with allegations of wrongdoing by more than 30 public works employees.
They've been off the job with pay since January 15th, as the city looks into a range of offences including allegations of using city vehicles for personal use, altering time sheets, and selling asphalt from the back of city vehicles.
Public Works Committee Chair Lloyd Ferguson says the city probe will be wrapped up by Monday, adding that they have a responsibility to make sure it is thorough and done right,
Police are also involved in the investigation, however Ferguson says any criminal probe will run separately from any disciplinary action that could be taken by the city.
