It's called legal weed or synthetic marijuana and Hamilton police aren't sure what to do about it.
It's name is IZMS and it's being sold in sex shops, head shops and even corner stores in Hamilton.
The web site for the company which makes it says it "contains a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients including herbs, fragrances and active legal cannabinoids."
Hamilton police have issued a statement saying the "synthetic Marijuana is in its infancy" and they will proceed with the direction from both Health Canada and the Federal Crown’s Office.
Health Canada says "synthetic cannabinoids" are illegal and it's against the law to sell, import, produce, or possess any products containing them.
The agency says there are also potential health risks associated with their consumption.
They include nausea, vomiting, seizures and suicidal thoughts.
