There's new deal to continue racing at Woodbine and Mohawk for another two years.
The deal comes just weeks before the provincial government ends the Slots at Racetracks program in March.
Slots has provided 345 million dollars a year for horse racing and most contend that without government support, Ontario tracks will not survive.
Details of the deal to extend racing at the two tracks will be announced later this morning.
And Ontario Agriculture Minsiter and Area MPP Ted McMeekin says it will form the template for on going discussions at Flamboro Downs.
