2012 was a record-breaking year for the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
Gallery President and CEO Louise Dompierre says attendance rose by 50%. There were more than 250 thousand visitors for a total of 20 exhibitions.
That translated to a 25% increase in revenues through admissions.
Dompierre, who made her annual presentation to Hamilton politicians on Friday morning, adds that the success continues into 2013, thanks in part to the current "The Eye of Napolean" exhibit.
The AGH will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2014.
