Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Hamilton and all of southern, central and eastern Ontario, warning of mixed precipitation headed our way.
A low pressure system from Colorado will track toward southern Ontario Sunday night and Monday.
Precipiation ahead of the low will reach Windsor Sunday evening and then Hamilton, Niagara and the G-T-A toward midnight.
It will start as snow, then change to ice pellets and freezing rain.
The main concern is that the freezing rain may last for several hours before changing to rain later Monday.
Travel conditions could be hazardous.
