Halton police are asking a witness to come forward to help with the investigation into the assault of a cab driver.
Investigators say a Hamilton taxi took three passengers to a townhouse on Woodview Avenue in Burlington on Saturday afternoon.
Once they got there, the passengers got into an argument with the cabbie who was pushed to ground.
A passerby saw what was happening and called 9-1-1.
The driver was taken to hospital and treated for fractures to his arm and cuts to his face.
Halton Police are appealing for any potential witnesses, in particular the passerby who went to the assistance of the taxi driver and called 9-1-1.
