A City of Hamilton Building Inspector will try and determine if the Stoney Creek building, heavily damaged in an explosion yesterday, is sound.
The blast at Custom Powder Coating in the Barton and Green Road area sent a worker to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Hamilton Fire Safety Officer Claudio Mostacci says the entire roof of the unit collapsed as a result, and the firewalls in the units on the north and south of it have also been damaged.
Until the all clear is given, the other surrounding businesses are closed.
