Police are investigating an assault involving two groups of men in a beer store parking lot on Hamilton mountain.
The fight broke out late last night as one group of four was leaving the store and was approached by a group of "attackers" who were said to be wearing belts around their knuckles.
The victims were kicked and punched during the attack and taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The suspects had fled the scene by the time police arrived at Upper James and Fennell.
It's thought that the violence was a continuation of an earlier alteraction.
