There's another major player in the local "wing wars".
The Anchor Bar is officially open to the public in Jackson Square after hiring 120 employees.
General Manager Tal Adler says they are ready to play their part in downtown revitalization.
Adler say they aim to meet a demand amongst the 42 hundred employees working out of downtown towers, while also giving mountain residents and other locals "another reason to come back down here".
Mayor Bratina tossed the first wing into the fryer on Friday.
Anchor bar wings are marketed as the "original Buffalo wing".
The Hamilton restaurant uses the recipe made famous and used by the original Buffalo store since 1964. Its decor, including murals, is also influenced by the iconic Buffalo location.
