Jurors at the John Sopinka Courthouse have heard from a number of witnesses today at the murder trial of Jeremy Hall.
Day three began with the cross-examination of the man already serving a prison sentence for his role in the killing of Billy Mason.
Jason Lusted became angry with defence lawyer Dirk Derstine and admitted he was a liar after he was pressed about changing his story several times to police.
Lusted says he was scared and was trying to 'get out of it.'
Lusted now claims he saw Hall kill Mason and helped him burn his body. When Derstine suggested that it wasn't Hall that killed Mason, Lusted 'strongly disagreed' with the statement.
Derstine is no stranger to high profile murder cases, he was the defence lawyer for Michael Rafferty, who was convicted of kidnapping and killing 8 year old Victoria Stafford of Woodstock.
After Lusted, the court then heard about a stolen truck that was found burning near Smithville the day after Mason was murdered.
Testimony will continue tomorrow.
