Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Southern Ontario.
Officials say an Alberta Clipper will combine with a Texas low to bring significant snowfall to the region.
It's expected to start off as light snow late tomorrow morning and then become heavy at times in the afternoon and evening.
At this point, Environment Canada says accumulations in Hamilton could in the 10cm range by Friday morning.
However, if the track of the system changes, we could see as much as 15cm or as little as 5cm.
