Harder to find full-time work
CBC
2/11/2013

According to the Social Planning and Research Council, part time and seasonal work is taking over for new full-time jobs in Hamilton.

It says the number of full-time positions has increased by 16 per cent since 1976, while part-time or seasonal work has increased by 38 per cent.

Males have been the hardest hit.

The council points to the fact employers can often pay lower benefits to contract and part-time workers.

The meesage that's apparent is Hamilton is not open for business.
I think it's time to cap the terms to sit on council to two or three at the most..

Full time jobs are disappearing. There is a reason for it. When a person finds a full time job, they want full times guarantees for their own life as a whole. They misunderstand the word job. The job is something that needs to be done and one gets paid for that job a wage that is usually a norm. After when the person is adapted to the work and do the job with a good inclines the job classifications it self remain the same but the pay scale could be awarded for it at the higher rate. Companies are covering them self from law suites by giving the terms that can be revoked by that contracts. People now days think that they own the places that offer them the job with out putting anything in it, and have any responsibility for that business. Times changed. People are smart. But, so smart that they got outsmarted their own self's from landing a full time jobs.
