Three cars into snowbanks, one collision and one motorist clocked at 172 kilometres per hour in an 80 zone.
Those are the lowlights within the Hamilton Police recap of seven impaired driving incidents this past weekend.
One motorist, a 26 year old Dundas man, was clocked at 172 kilometres per hour on Highway 5 near Middletown Road early Sunday morning.
He was arrested on dangerous and impaired driving charges by officers conducting speed enforcement after the vehicle was found off the road in a snowbank.
Impaired drivers were also rescued from snowbanks on Barton Street and the Kenilworth Access on Saturday morning. The collision involving a drunk driver happened early Saturday morning on Upper Ottawa at Unsworth Drive.
All seven of the impaired arrests involved Hamilton men, ranging in age from 24-to-64.
