One teenager has been treated in hospital for a facial injury after a house party spun out of control on Hamilton's south mountain.
Police were called to the scene, in the area of Jacqueline Boulevard and Magenta Court at about 11:30 on Saturday night, to reports that a house party had spilled out into the street and that two large groups of young men were fighting.
The group had dispersed by the time that officers arrived.
The 18 year old man with the facial injury was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say it appears that the party grew out of control because of a Facebook notification.
