A 29 year old Hamilton man has had his license suspended and is facing a charge for driving with open liquor.
The driver was stopped by police on patrol in the area of Barton and Shelby streets yeterday afternoon. Police say they saw the man chuck an empty beer can out the window. After pulling him over, police discovered he had been drinking and administered a roadside breath test.
The driver blew in the "warn" range and was subsequently given a 3 day suspension.
He was also charged with having a blood alcohol level above zero with a class G2 license and littering in public.
