All of the t's are now crossed and the i's dotted as far as private operation of Hamilton's city-owned entertainment venues is concerned.
City Council has formally approved management agreements with Global Spectrum and Carmens.
Councillor Sam Merulla notes that city taxpayers will save more than seven million dollars over the next five years.
Carmens will operate the Hamilton Convention Centre. Global Spectrum will run Copps Coliseum and Hamilton Place.
Employees of Copps and Hamilton Place are expected to find out next Tuesday if they'll have positions with the new operator.
