It's been a busy morning for firefighters in the lower city.
Trucks were called out to two house fires, about an hour apart and just blocks away from each other.
The first blaze happened at about 9 o'clock in the area of Sherman Avenue North and Birch Avenue.
The second broke out around 10 o'clock in a two-and-a-half storey home on Wilson Street near Gibson.
Officials confirm that all residents made it out of both homes, although one person was taken to hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation in connection with the Wilson Street fire.
There's no word yet on the cause of either blaze.
