Hamilton police have charged four more people in connection with a hotel robbery earlier this month.

Two men and two women face various charges after a 25-year-old Burlington man was robbed after meeting a woman through an online dating service.

Police say the victim was confined in the hotel room in Hamilton on February 12th and given a noxious substance.

The suspects, three of whom are from Kitchener, stole the victim's wallet, cell phone and vehicle.

A fifth suspect, a woman from Hamilton, was charged on Wednesday.

Police are advising citizens to be cautious when engaging in online encounters with strangers.

How can one be going to this extent with just hearing some one voice or receiving a letter to place them self into such subjection . Yes, we must cover over self's. I would say, no strangers for children's, and no strangers for adults. We do not know the intentions of people now days. The people of today are very creative. The internet
is a very dangerous system of communications. I urge all citizens to be cautious in all forms of communications, and even be alert at all places including in the homes.
Self defense is the best defense.
