An elderly woman who was hit by a car has died from her injuries.
Last Wednesday afternoon, the 72 year old was crossing at Wentworth Street and Aikman Avenue when she was hit and suffered critical injuries.
She passed away on Saturday.
It's the second traffic fatality this year and the first pedestrian to be fatally injured in 2013.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at the request of the family.
No word if any charges will be laid; police say speed and alcohol were not a factor in the collision.
