It offers people therapy to help them quit their costly ‘big bank’ habit.
A recent report from CBC’s Marketplace said Canadians pay some of the highest bank fees in the world.
The report says families are coughing up small fortunes and have no idea exactly how much is taken from their account for fees.
Dave Schurman, the COO of FirstOntario Credit Union says big banks’ shouldn’t be stopped from making profits.
But, they're telling consumers that they don’t have to be the ones paying for excessive profits through higher bank fees and rates.
