A Hamilton man, who owns an OLG retail location, is one step closer to claiming a 16 million dollar Lotto 6/49 prize.
Myungsu You's prize claim has completed the first stage of a two-step Insider Wins process ---- following an independent investigation by a third party.
The prize will now be held for a 30-day waiting period. It will be paid out on March.21st if there are no further claims.
OLG retailers are prohibited from playing the lottery at their place of work. You claimed his ticket, in compliance with the rules, at the Centre Mall on Barton Street.
His win dates back to the Lotto 6/49 draw on June.30th of last year.
