After almost a decade, the family of John Daly will have to wait a little longer to find out what sentence his killer will receive.
30 year old Ryan King was found guilty of second-degree murder on January 8th after a jury found he fatally stabbed Daly with a screwdriver when he tryed to stop King and another man from breaking into cars in his east Mountain neighborhood in March 2003.
The automatic sentence for second-degree murder is life in prison, but a judge will determine when King can apply for parole.
King's sentencing has been adjourned until April 12.
