Police on the hunt for several suspects after a pair of gas kiosks were targetted by robbers.
At around 2:30 this morning suspects broke into a kiosk in the area of Hwy #5 and Middletown Road in Flamborough. Once inside they hooked a chain up to an ATM but were unable to remove it. The store's alarm alerted police, but the suspects had fled prior to their arrival.
And just before midnight last night, two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a handgun robbed a kiosk near King Street West and New Street.
The sole attendant saw the suspects running towards the store and attempted to lock the doors, but they got there before he could.
Two customers were in the store restroom at the time and the suspects ran off once one of them came out.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Both suspects are described as male black and approximately 20 years old.
