A new survey shows most Hamilton drivers don't support changing major east/west streets from one-way to two-way streets.
The CAA poll of 4-hundred Hamilton residents shows 58 per cent do not support changes to major east/west roads.
54 per cent either strongly support, or somewhat support, changes to secondary north/south streets.
The CAA's John Ennis says the majority of reasons cited by respondents for not supporting changes were emotional, not for safety or financial reasons.
The survey was conducted between November 14 and December 10.
