A mother and son from Burlington have been arrested following a break-in at a Burlington home.
Police say last Wednesday shortly after 11:00 a.m., a break and enter occurred at a house on Cavendish Drive.
The front door was forced open and numerous pieces of jewellery were taken.
An investigation led to the arrest of the pair at a nearby residence and the recovery of the stolen items.
Further investigation and a search warrant at a Burlington motel led to the discovery of additional stolen items from other break-ins and locker thefts in the area.
While police have located owners for some of the stolen property, they are asking anyone who may have had items stolen in the last four months to contact Detective Donna Whittaker at 905 825-4747 x2312.
