The Hamilton Public School Board has officially reached out to the city about putting a high school in the Pan Am Precinct.
The school board has invited council to take part in the process of selecting and building a new high school in the same area as the new Pan Am Stadium.
Last month, the province pledged nearly 32 million dollars for the new facility, which will accommodate over 12 hundred students and will replace the aging Parkview, Delta and Sir John A. Macdonald schools.
