It was a quick meeting for Hamilton City Council, putting the final stamp on a number of issues.
Including -- ratifying the decision to designate Flamboro Downs as the preferred location for a casino and consider other sites if it is proved to not be viable.
Council also unanimously ratified its decision to send a pitch for Light Rail Transit to the province.
Earlier this week, councillors agreed to ask the province to provide 100 per cent capital funding for the project.
Construction costs are estimated at to be at least 800 million dollars.
