The Homicide unit has wrapped up its investigation into what was initially deemed a suspicious death of of a six week old baby on Christmas Eve.
The baby was brought to McMaster Hospital emergency in medical distress the night before. Children's Aid called police shortly before the baby boy died.
A post mortem had found injuries to the boy were not consistent with a natural death.
In a release today, police have determined there is no evidence to suggest any foul play and have concluded their investigation.
No information on the cause of death was provided.
