A weekend visit to Hamilton by the Premier did not bring a time line for changes to the auto insurance industry in Ontario.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says her government sees the need for specific recommendations regarding auto insurance, but the suggestion of a spring deadline is too tight.
Specific recommendations regarding auto insurance were made in the province’s anti-fraud task force report.
Wynne says while she expects these changes will save the industry millions, she will work to make sure those savings are felt by premium holders.
The Wynne Government is hoping to implement some changes this year.
