Charges laid in synthetic marijuana probe
Ken Mann
3/4/2013

Hamilton police have made an arrest --- as part of an investigation into the sale of synthetic marijuana.

Facing drug trafficking charges is 53 year old Peter Wookey of Toronto.   He's the father of 28 year old Adam Wookey who is the CEO of the company called IZMS which allegedly produces and sells the drug through local sex shops, convenience stores and head
shops.

The arrest and charges follow a search of two Toronto homes late last week during which about 200 grams of marijuana and 45 grams of cannibis resin were seized.

Adam Wookey has challenged police claims that the product is illegal.
