Charges have been laid, just over two weeks after a woman suffered deadly injuries when she was struck by a car while crossing Wentworth Street.
Police have wrapped up their investigation laying a number of Highway Traffic Act charges against the driver, a 49 year old Hamilton man.
The victim, a 72 year old woman was struck while crossing Wentworth at Aikman Avenue at about 3:30 in the afternoon on February.13th. She died of her injuries three days later.
Investigators have previously said that alcohol and speed were not factors.
