7 public works employees hired back

A second life for some public works employees in Hamilton. 

The city has hired back 7 of the 29 members of the roads crew that were fired in January.

City Manager Chris Murray could not give many details but says the workers should return to work next week.

The last 30 days will be considered an unpaid suspension and they will not receive any back pay.

The investigation into the supervisors within the department continues and city staff expects to report back to council in the coming weeks.

    city of hamilton has no case thier were 10 workers called back to work but only 7 took bogus deal back on 5 day suspendtion that means no progressive desapline .again not following contract why have a contract when you dont abide by it no one was caught steeling false allagations again and by the way thats the amount of work they were giving each day and told to drive around to look for pot holes some guys including forman did this for 20 years or more the new guys follow the higher senorityguys who tot them the forman are the ones that should be fired all 22 will be reinstated you will see

    the city would not of made a deal with those employees if they had a case they called them back because the city would lose in abortration an they will lose all the other 22 cases if they didnt steel any thing they were not fired for steeling they were fired for not wearing ppe personel pertective equipment and taking to long of a lunch in the history of protol with city and union all this deserves is a writnen warning or at most a day off do they realy no what they are doing to these peoples families o i forgot big corperations have no hearts hope they sleep well at night knowing these people might lose everything check the job market latley thier is no jobs and they have to take the city off thier resume because the city trashed thier name all over the news get a job now i hope they have some heart bring them all back because they will pay in end by the way all 29 were fired for the same thing how can you call 10 back and not the rest [ do the right thing]

    your wright the formans no thats why 5 formans have resiened and took thier retirement before the city finds out what they have bin doing for 20 years believe me thier running befor the real truth comes out hope the city knows what they are doing because more tax payers money down the drain they use to take long lunches and still dont ware thier ppe and go home every day and go home on nights to sleep why the real men get fired for doing thier jobs buul shit thats what that is

    Don,Dan,Bill.Please learn to spell and punctuate your words ands sentences correctly.Those two lessons were what was needed to get a passing grade in grade six.Which also is the reading level to read and comprehend most if not all newspapers.
