Hamilton's 30 million dollar woman has claimed her lottery winnings.
Gayle Zolaturiuk went through the rigorous prize claim process on Friday at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming prize centre in Toronto.
The mountain resident and mother purchased the winning ticket for last Saturday's 30 million dollar LOTTO 6/49 jackpot at the Big Bear Food Mart on Limeridge Road West near Garth. She showed up at the prize office in a Lincoln Navigator Limo.
Gayle says she'll be taking off for a couple of weeks to gather herself and figure out what she's going to do.
She adds that it will definitely include "a home, a trip and clothes".
Gayle also plans to share with family, adding that the win couldn't have come at a better time for her family.
She is unemployed and dealing with illness. She credits a recently adopted, stray black cat as her good luck charm.
