Hamilton's public school board is facing a couple of controversial topics head on.
The board wants parental feedback on school closures and student discipline.
The survey, the board says, is not a prelude to any more school closures, but part of its regular committment to public consultation.
The part of the survey dealing with school discipline for student behaviour will also outline the steps teachers and principals are required to follow when incidents occur.
And it lists what supports are in place for students who are victims of bullying or violence.
As well, the board is welcoming comments on the upcoming school calendar and a proposal to update its website.
The survey is on the website and is up through the end of the month.
