Burlington officials want to know how residents feel about allowing skateboards, electric scooters and other forms of active transportation on city streets.
The city is gathering input through a public survey and by hosting a pair of open houses next week.
Currently, only bicycles are allowed on Burlington streets.
Councillor Marianne Meed-Ward says the review is about finding ways to support so-called emerging forms of active transportation while keeping everyone safe. She adds that options might include restricting them to certain roads, such as those with bike lanes.
The first open house is scheduled for next Tuesday evening from 7-until-9 at the Burlington Art Centre.
The second will happen the following night at Tansley Woods Community Centre.
