Hamilton police have charged a man in connection with a string of robberies this month at businesses in the city. The incidents began on March 4th and involved robberies at corner stores, gas bars and banks. In a few cases, the suspect brandished a knife and in another, threatened to pull out a gun on bank tellers. No one was injured in any of the incidents. 42 year old Mark Zammit is charged with 10 counts each of robbery and breach of probation, along with three counts of disguise with intent. He was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Division One Heat officers and members of the BEAR unit.
