Two weeks after a symbolic groundbreaking, a construction company has been selected to lead the first phase of the redevelopment of Burlington's Joseph Brant Hospital.
Bondfield Construction is the winning bidder which will build the new Halton McMaster Family Health Centre as well as a new parking structure.
The contract carries a price tag of almost 24 million dollars.
Construction of the family health centre is to be completed next spring.
The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation is in the midst of a 60 million dollar campaign, the raise the community's share of what in total is a 312 million dollar hospital redevelopment.
