A Hamilton hockey player is up for the Hobey Baker Award as U.S. college hockey's best player.
St. Lawrence University forward Greg Carey is among 10 finalists up for the honour.
The St. Thomas More graduate scored an OJHL record 72 goals in 48 games while playing for the Burlington Cougars in 2009.
He also leads the St. Lawrence Saints in scoring this season with 28 goals and 23 assists in 38 games.
The top three finalists will be announced April 3rd.
The winner will be named April 12.
