The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have made their final roster cuts, releasing 15 players.

Gone from the offensive side of the ball are fullback Michael Giffin, offensive linemen Eric Ince, Jordan Rempel and Gerald Davis, and receivers Laurent Lavigne-Masse, Earnest Jackson, Prechae Rodriguez and Rashaun Woods.

Cut loose from the defense are defensive linemen Adam Kania and Byron Tinker, linebackers James Kinney and Cameron Siskowic, and defensive backs Dennis Mitchell, Bo Smith and Geoff Tisdale.

Chris Bauman, Dylan Barker, Earnest Jackson and J-P Bekasiak have been placed on the injured list.

The practice roster includes Laurent Lavigne-Masse, Prechae Rodriguez, Jordan Rempel, Gerald Davis, Bo Smith, Geoff Tisdale and Cameron Siskowic.

On Monday afternoon, commissioner Mark Cohon and the Cats will host a joint news conference to discuss the CFL season opener at Ivor Wynne.

Renowned illusionist Greg Frewin will bring along a live tiger and will discuss his upcoming halftime show, which has never before been attempted at a professional sporting event.

The Ticats will kick off the regular season at home for the first time since 1977 when they host Montreal on Thursday, June 26th at 7pm on CHML and Y108.
